On April 1st, I will be participating in the long-awaited A-to-Z Blogger Challenge. <insert deep breath here> I am a little overwhelmed but hopeful about being able to complete 26 posts in the month of April. As some of you may know, I did try the January Ultimate Blog Challenge and failed miserably (in my opinion), only completing the first four days. I was so stressed out and up late every night trying to decide what to write about that, I finally said NO MORE as I realized it was way more important to take care of me than to be up all hours of the night trying to think of a blog post!
What I learned:
Be prepared. On the January Ultimate Blog Challenge, I joined with less than a week’s notice. I was not prepared mentally nor did I even have one blog post written. I was completely ‘winging it’. Definitely wouldn’t advise to do that again!
Have a theme. A theme you say? Yes! I had no idea what to write about when I was trying the Ultimate Blog Challenge, I just figured since I had so many ideas written down here and there, surely I would be able to just come up with a post a day!
No. Just no.
I found that not having niche on the challenge, it made it so I spent more time trying to decide what to write about than the actual blog post. A total time-waster!
So I am super excited to try this new challenge. I am ready!
It’s time for the A-to-Z Challenge Theme Reveal!
What will this mom of two boys be writing about for the next month? Something that we look forward to every summer. A broad enough topic that would allow me to write 26 posts (one for each letter of the alphabet) during the month of April but still narrow enough that it shouldn’t be so overwhelming.
Drum roll please!
I will be writing about Family Camping! We have camped as a family in both a tent and a pop-up trailer so I will be sharing with you ideas on cooking, packing, camp activities, products I love and the love/hate relationship I have with family camping.
